In addition to co-hosting responsibilities on Texas Select, I am the show's producer, technical engineer, post-production editor, webmaster, and proprietor of the Ted Jones Broadcasting Center. I lived my entire childhood in Hamilton, Texas, graduated with a Computer Science degree from Texas A&M in 2002, and worked for IBM until 2006, when I was sold to Coremetrics much like the Red Sox sold Babe Ruth to the Yankees in 1918.

I spent my earliest years as a sports fan dedicated to the Texas Rangers, so I take losing well. I'm currently stricken by a growing apathy towards my former love, Major League Baseball, and have always expressed significant indifference towards college sports. I never miss a Cowboys game on TV. For over 15 years, I've been a dedicated NBA fan, moving away from the Mavericks during the lean years, to the Chicago Bulls, and then back to the Mavericks after the 1999 strike year. The best thing about the NHL, in my mind, is how in cities like Dallas, they cover up the ice a few times a week to put down some hardwood and two 10-foot rims.

I love debating sports with the guys on this show, and John, Brian and I have engaged in spirited arguments for years, while Fundy sits beside us and says, "y'all are stupid. I just don't care." Those times were the inspiration for this show.

Everybody else wrote these fun facts about themselves, so I guess I should, too.

• I once made three halfcourt shots in a row, in the spring of 1995.
• My personal record at CiCi's Pizza is 17 pieces of pizza and 5 chocolate breadsticks. March 1998.
• In December 2004, I drove 3200 miles in one week, and stayed in 9 different beds in 9 nights.
• I am often criticized for my tolerance of cold temperatures. When it was -8 in Vail, I admitted to Edwards that I was cold.
• I have had half-season tickets to the Dallas Mavericks since the 2002-2003 season.
• I'm the youngest person on my block, by about 15 years. It's great.
• In my whole life, I have only kept four plants alive for more than a month.
• I make some mean gumbo.
• In my whole life, I have worn a tie less than 10 times. I have never worn a sportcoat or a suit, and I intend to keep it that way. I have never worn cowboy boots, a cowboy hat, or a belt buckle, either.
• I have 12 different kinds of hot sauce in my kitchen.
