Paul Tanner Nickname: PT, T, Tanner, Tan-man, Spaceman, Sugar Bear.Born: 1980 Website: www.xanga.com/home.aspx?user=paultanner The legend that is our #1 listener. Paul emigrated from Moody, Texas to Hamilton sometime in 1986. His cerebral, contemplative
approach to the world of sports has always found a place beside the more rash opinions of Brian, John and Rhylan.
Paul graduated from Hamilton High School in 1998, and spent his undergrad years at San Angelo State University. While
there, he participated in sleeping contests and sold music supplies to Los Lonely Boys, among other achievements. Since
leaving San Angelo, Paul traversed the USA in search of liberty and freedom. He was in Indiana for awhile, then he
sold cell phones in Burleson, and somehow he ended up in southeast Colorado before settling into seminary at Hardin-Simmons
University in Abilene. In a very short time, Paul won the award for unlikely happenings of 2005 by getting engaged.
Paul is a frequent contributor to Texas Select via the El Taco H Hotline. He has an open invitation to the Ted Jones Broadcasting Center, but may never make it there due to his poor sense of direction and lack of map reading skills. Among Paul's many achievements, he played doubles tennis with Rhylan in 1997, and got in trouble for walking to Dairy Queen. He was also the musical backbone of the supergroup One Sunday Night, which convened twice in the year 2000 to record the musical classic, "Waffle House." |
