Brian, in his own words.
When I was a young boy, I had a dream. . . to one day be a part of an internet-based sports radio
show.
Okay, maybe not. But I know that I and the members of Texas Select have always loved sports, the business of sports,
and the idea of being able to talk about sports in some sort of organized fashion. I absolutely love sports. I don't
know why it intrigues me so much. But I could sit around and watch anything sports-related thing (excluding sports
that are not actually sports-e.g. horse racing, auto racing, etc.) all-day long, from college football to Australian
Rules Football.
- I live in Fort Worth. I am a youth minister. I have been happily married to my wife, Lauren, since July 2002. I have no pets, nor do I want any.
- When I was a senior in high school, I made a shot from the third row of the bleachers during halftime of a high school
basketball game. It was awesome.
- When I was a freshman in high school, I officially scored points in a basketball game, while never getting off the bench--ask
me about that one sometime.
- Also, while in high school, I almost killed myself, whilst rolling my golf cover over on top of my head.
Thank goodness John was there.
- I once allowed a friend to give me a "haircut" when I was in college. Once again, thanks John for being there--when
you picked me up to go to the A&M/Okie St. football game, you told me I looked like a shaved rat.
- I graduated from college with the George Skiles Anderson award--as the top male in my graduating class (yeah, boy).
- I once tried to order a muchacho from Taco Bueno.
- I have to say one word to make Rhylan mad at me: aqueduct. Editor's note: Brian once said Ickey Woods was better
than Emmitt Smith. He is stupid.
- In 1997 and 1998 I was a member of back-to-back state championship golf teams in high school, and I was second medalist at the state
tourney in 1997.
- I (accidentally) stabbed myself in the head with a piece of bamboo yesterday, and my head still aches from it.
