Show 12 - 2.24.2006We were hyper for Show 12.. you'll hear it in the volume. The titles of these segments might lead you to believe that we talked about sports. If you assume this, you will be mistaken! Comments:
I have a question for John. Is it legal to put fliers on vehicles? I don't think that it should be because they are touching your personal property. I hate when people do this. I just saw someone doing this and I immediately went to my truck and tore it up right in front of them. Then I said, "Do it again and your dead!" I think I really scared that 10 year old girl. Would it be legal for me to follow them and take the fliers off the vehicles?
Clint, in reference to your question, I did a little research. Apparently the question you asked has not been litigated in Texas. There was a case in Brownfield, TX in which a lady was prosecuted for putting flyers on cars, but that case was decided on another issue. It was a violation of a city ordinance to put flyers on cars, but she was acquitted of that. So I would say that unless it is a violation of your city's code that they can do it. Even though your car is your personal property you knowingly and willfully expose it to the open thereby deminishing the privacy interest you have in it. Cars have the lowest level of privacy so I doubt it breaks the law.
Sorry, but I agree w/ you it should be.
http://www.frogsonice.com/skateweb/faq/rules.shtml someone read this and tell me its like a refree in basketball....not a sport.....but one the other hand who gives a crap...figure skating sucks...if its a sport(which its not) its a sucky sport
Technical elements attempted by the skaters are identified by a paid technical specialist, informally known as the "caller". The judges then assign a "grade of execution" (GoE) to each element. hmmm....maybe the nba should start awarding points for better dunks, or three pointers which are closely gaurded and from further away
